FAQ

I get quite a few questions on Instagram about the same things so I thought I would answer them all here!

How old are you?
I'm 21 and at University studying to be a Primary School teacher. I graduate this year!

Where are you from?
London.

How do you edit your photos?
I make sure that I take all my photos in natural light, and I tweak the brightness a little sometimes on the app Snapseed for photos taken on my phone.

What camera do you have?
Up until recently I used my iPhone 5 but after receiving a Canon 600D for Christmas, I have been using that.

How did you get so many followers on Instagram?
It didn't happen overnight, and I'm still in shock that so many people follow me! But I make sure to stick to a theme that I like. There's no point taking photos that you think others will like if you don't like them yourself.
I make sure that all my photos are really clear aswell - nobody likes a blurry photo!
I also use Instagram to make friends, though, and I've met some really lovely people on there - it's not all about followers!

How do you afford your things?
I've worked since I was 16, and I don't spend my money on stupid things that I wouldn't use, I spend it on things that I really want.

I want to start a blog - what would you recommend?
I'd recommend blogging about things you're passionate about. There's a lot of beauty bloggers around, but if that's what interests you then I don't see a problem in there being one more. Make sure that you enjoy what you blog about as it's interesting to hear someone's opinion. If you're reviewing something, honesty is always best! If you're taking photos, try to make sure that they are clear because nobody likes a blurry photo!

How did you get your job?
For those who don't know, I work at Chanel. I get asked this question quite a lot and I sometimes find it kinda rude because it comes across that people think I don't deserve it or whatever.
I've worked since I turned 16. I got a Saturday job at a high end hair salon in Mayfair, London, and worked there throughout sixth form until I turned 18.
I then applied to work at the Chanel in Sloane Street and I worked there all summer until I started University in the October.
I then went back the following year but to the boutique in Harrods because the Sloane Street boutique was renovating. Since then, I've been at Harrods and I work in the office on the phone a lot and I really, really enjoy it.
So in answer to the question, I got it because I applied. But I think what they liked about me is that I'm really hard working and quite well spoken and just hold myself really professionally.

How long have you been with your boyfriend?
Since February 2011 - we met on the ski trip at University and he's just lovely.

Will you give me a shoutout on Instagram?
Unless I know you, probably not. I'm not a shoutout machine :)
