Valentines is one of this marmite type events - you either love it or you hate it. It's one of those commercial holidays which companies such as Clinton's make an absolute fortune. But to people who moan and complain about it, I say get over it. So what if someone wants to buy the person they love a gift to show them their appreciation? Often people in a relationship can get so comfortable that they forget to remind their other half of how much they mean to them, and I see Valentines as a great reminder to do just that. I also don't see it as something purely for couples. If you have an amazing best friend or family member who deserves to be shown how much you love and appreciate them, this is the perfect moment to show them. It doesn't necessarily have to be in the form of a gift, it can be a card or a day out or even just a text. But if you're thinking of getting someone a gift, I've put together a few ideas of things that I'm pretty sure most girls would love to receive.
