♡ Q & A! ♡

Helloooo!

So recently I have had a mare of a time - three (yes three!) of my nails on my "swatching" hand broke really far down and as a result I've had to file my nails super short (for me).

I'm really unhappy with them at the moment which is why you're not getting a nail post this week - sorry! I'm waiting until they grow back a little :)

So, you're getting something a little different!

I thought it would be fun to have a Q&A session!

What is your oldest memory?

I'm not sure what my oldest is, but I know that I was about two years old from this memory because of the house we were living in. I remember tripping up in the garden over a hose and being really upset because I was on concrete. Ouch!

What is your all time favourite nail polish?

Now this is hard! And mean! I'm so in love with so many of mine! I think if I HAD to choose, it would be OPI Casino Royale. I'm a sucker for purples.

Who is your inspiration/idol and why?

I'm in love with a lot of models like Miranda Kerr, Gemma Ward and Freja Beha Erichsen because they're so beautiful. But I wouldn't say they were my idols. I take inspiration from a lot of people and as I grow and change, so do my inspirations. But is it really cliche to say my mother is my all time idol? I'm just so proud of her for bringing up three children all very similar in ages while my dad worked and I think she did a really good job of it :') LOVE YA MUM x
What are you most grateful for in life?
Having the family that I have and being brought up where I have been. My family are all still together and we have been lucky to not have been hit with any life-changing issues, and we live in a really lovely area that's perfect for all our needs and I'm just very grateful and lucky that my parents have provided me with the opportunities I have had.

Who is your celebrity crush?

WHO ISN'T GEORGIA?! WHO ISN'T?! But Chris Hemsworth is hiiiigh up there on my list. Along with David Beckham. Mmmmmm. And Ryan Reynolds. Yes please.

If you were invisible for a day, what would you do?

I'd probably be really naughty and steal loads of things I wouldn't normally be able to afford like designer bags or something. I'd also probably sneak onto a plane and go to an exotic destination.

Have you done anything that has made you really proud of yourself? If yes, what?

Yeah! I think I'm yet to do more things in my life that will make me proud but so far, I'm really proud that I got a job that I love and that I'm good at with people who are lovely. I'm really proud I got the grades to go to University and have passed every year so far first time and have never failed any module of it. I'm really proud that I've done three placements throughout the degree (so far - one more to go eek!) and have taught lots of children lots of different things. And I'm really proud that, even though my boyfriend and I had a really hard time last year, we got through it and are happier than ever.

If you had the choice of living somewhere else, where would it be and why?
My DREAM is to go to Bora Bora because it literally looks like heaven on earth. But I think I'd like to live somewhere like California because it always seems to be sunny there and here it's so cold. And the shopping there and food looks amaze.

Favourite product ever?

It's a bit of a weird one! I'm assuming you're talking cosmetics otherwise that's a whole other ballpark but I love love love (and always rebuy) Nivea Age Defying Q10 plus hand cream. My hands get super dry and this stuff smells amazing (I probably like the smell because my mum uses it too). And I guess the anti-wrinkle and age-deying aspects will help in the future!

If you could pick your dream dinner party guests, who would you invite? (They can be famous, and they can be dead)

Oh man. Um. Ok. Definitely the men mentioned above (Chris Hemsworth, Ryan Reynolds and David Beckham). Sarah Millican would be jokes aswell, and Alan Carr. And Zoella because people say I look like her and I think she's great and we'd really get on. And while we're on the YouTube front - Missglamorazzi because she seems so so sweet! And I'd have good old Heston to cook the food ;)

Without being too morbid, I'd like to invite both of my grandfathers, the one because I miss him so much since he passed away in September, and the other because I never got to meet him as he passed away when my mum was young. I think it would be nice for them to meet eachother too :')

Favourite singer/bands?

I'm really indecisive about these things! I used to LOVE Rihanna, but now she's gone a bit weird. And I will always love Beyonce. But I like any music that I can really dance to, you know? So I don't really have a proper answer - sorry!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I actually have a huuuuge list of places I'd like to visit, but New York has always been a dream - it's just SO expensive. I'm going to Boston in three weeks which is pretty close but can't quite afford to go there which is a shame! So close yet so far.
What top three things would you want to do when you're there?
I would eat like there was no tomorrow, go to see any kind of Broadway show, and go on an open top bus tour :)

What are your three staples? One make up, one skincare, one nail polish?
THIS IS SUCH A GOOD QUESTION! 
Make up would have to be mascara. I used to use MAC's Zoom Lash ALLLLL the time but since using others I've realised how clumpy it is. I had that Maybelline Volum' Express Mega Plush one and really liked it but it's gone walkabout! Can't find it anywhere. Mascara definitely brightens up my eyes a lot, and they're my favourite thing on my face.
Skincare would have to beeeee Johnson's Holiday Skin. I don't use it THAT often because I'm normally one of those quick-shower-get-ready type people but when I have time, I always go for that because it helps to have a summer glow!
Nail polish is such a tricky one - no fair! I'd probably have to say Essie's Peach Daiquiri - it's a polish that I'm reaching for time and time again, such a pretty pinky/coraly red.

What app do you use to make your pictures bright?
I don't really use an app, I just make sure that when I take my photos it's in a naturally lit space and that the phone camera is properly focused.

What ice cream flavour would you be?
Probably something that's sickly sweet and pastel coloured - maybe marshmallow if they even do that flavour?! I'm sure somewhere does! Haha

If you could only paint your nails one colour for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I answered a similar question above but because I'm classing that as a different question, I'll give this one a different answer. MUAHAHAHA CHEATING. I love Essie Aruba Blue and I get so many compliments when I wear it so probably that!

Your dream trip - where would you go, with who, what would you do?
It would be an around the world trip (I know that's kinda cheating but YOLO). I'd go with my boyfriend because he's probably the only person who can stand me in all moods and we'd go to the following places: Bora Bora, Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, road trip across America, Norway, Amsterdam, Italy, Turkey, Canada, Japan, Thailand, Madagascar, India, St Lucia, Bahamas and the Galapagos Islands. I'd love to be cultured in all of these places and I know it's ambitious but over the period of my life I'd like to have ticked them all off :)

On hot days, do you have any tips for keeping cool? Or any hairstyles that still look stylish however keep hair off the face?
I love hot days! Wearing floaty clothing like maxi dresses are ideal because, even if they're black, they provide a really nice breeze. I also make sure to always have some sort of drink with me, and when I feel reeeeally hot, I go and sit in the shade for a while until my body feels ok again.
For my hair, I always have it up in a messy bun but if you have a fringe, having it in a ponytail with a little quiff would be quite cute or french braiding it into a small braid which then joins the ponytail would be nice too (if that makes sense?!)

Where do you like to shop and what is your favourite food?
I like to shop in Topshop mostly, but River Island have some cute things too! I'm one of those people who buys loads in one go but then doesn't buy anything for ages. For example, the current knitted Topshop jumpers? I have four. But I haven't bought anything in aaaages so that totally justifies it, right?!
I'm, again, one of those people that, if I like something, I like it a LOT (eg. the jumpers!) I love bagels, and prefer them toasted with butter/marmite/nutella/bacon/Boursin I just love them. If I had to pick a favourite type of food, it would be Chinese. I love me some noodles.
