Nail Inspo!

So recently I've been super busy.
As some of you may know, I'm at University studying to be a Primary school teacher. Unlike many other degrees, my course finished on the 26th June, which was about a month later than all my other friends and it meant that while everyone else seemed to be out having an amazing time I was stuck in lectures that were about depressing things (I have two 10,000 word dissertations to begin next academic year - eek!).

As well as this, it was my 21st birthday on the 27th of June, and I moved house on the 29th!! Busy busy!

I'll be doing a post soon about all the lovely things I did on my birthday and will probably write about the gifts I received too because I'm so happy about them, but today I'm posting about a one of the nail bloggers who inspired my favourite nails that I've done so far.

Nicole is one of my favourite nail bloggers for more than one reason: her nails are always perfectly filed and shaped, she is amazing at nail art and she makes YouTube videos aswell! She's so great, and you can see her blog, Young Wild and Polished, here.

A while ago, she held a competition which was (sadly for me, being in the UK) for Americans only. The idea was to recreate any nail art that she had previously done, with the option of changing colours should you wish. Obviously, I had a go purely because I wanted to see if I could do it!

Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as Nicole's original, but I gave it a good try! What do you think?

As you can see, I needed quite a few colours to do this nail art and they were the following:
White - China Glaze White on White
Green - Sinful Colors Innocent
Pinky/Red - Essie Come Here!
Blue - Essie In The Cab-ana

I'm not normally one for colours this bright but I really liked how it turned out! Let me know what you think and if you'd like a tutorial for how I did them!

I bought my Essies from Boots for £7.99 each, the Sinful Colors is also from Boots at an amazing £1.99, and the China Glaze I actually bought from Amazon for £6.75 (it's hard to find any suppliers for China Glaze in the UK if you're just a normal girl like me!)

I hope you enjoyed reading this, let me know if you did in the comments and if you have any ideas of what you'd like me to post about! :)

Until next time!
